Terms of service

1. Who provides the services

Federica Nardi, trading as basicfede
VAT no. 02060940430
Via Giovan Battista Contini 34, 62100 Macerata (MC), Italy
Email for information, support, complaints and withdrawal: info@federicanardi.it.

These terms cover consulting and training sold directly by Federica Nardi and her course “Parlare con le macchine”, available through Hotmart. Customers purchasing as consumers retain all mandatory rights under the Italian Consumer Code. Purchases for professional or business purposes are subject to the rules applicable to that relationship.

2. Proposals, purchases and payments

The contact form and introductory call are used to assess your request and do not, on their own, constitute a purchase. For consulting and training, you receive a proposal describing the activities, duration, sessions, materials, schedule or how it will be agreed, total fees, applicable taxes, any expenses and payment deadlines. Additional work must be agreed before it is carried out.

The contract is formed when you accept the proposal in writing, in accordance with the procedure specified in the proposal. Specific financial and organisational arrangements agreed before purchase supplement these terms. No agreement may reduce a consumer’s mandatory rights. For the Hotmart course, the purchase, order summary and payment take place on the external platform.

Consultations require advance payment of the full fee or a part-payment agreed in writing, before the session or the start of the programme. Payment after the service is permitted only if expressly agreed in writing. The proposal specifies the advance payment amount, the balance due date and the payment method. The advance payment forms part of the fee: it does not limit the right of withdrawal or any refunds required by law. For company training, the payment deadlines agreed in the proposal apply.

Before the contract is formed, you receive the applicable terms and confirmation of the agreement in a form you can retain. Where specific approval of particular clauses is required by law, it is requested separately. Merely visiting this website does not constitute acceptance of a paid service.

3. How the work is carried out

Consultations and lessons may take place online or in person, as specified in the proposal. We work on the agreed objectives and materials. The services consist of training and practical support: software development, ongoing system maintenance or other project deliverables are included only if described in the proposal.

Online sessions require a suitable internet connection and a device compatible with the agreed tools. Subscriptions to AI tools and other third-party services are separate from training fees unless expressly included in the proposal. Any necessary requirements are communicated before the start.

4. Rescheduling, cancellations and missed sessions

You may request to reschedule a session by giving notice no later than the day before the appointment, by email or through the agreed channel. A new date is agreed together, subject to availability.

If you cancel on the day of the appointment or do not attend without notice, the session is counted as deliveredfor the purposes of the fee or the number of sessions purchased. This rule applies only to that session and does not result in the loss of other lessons in the programme. The right of withdrawal, all other mandatory rights and the consideration of documented exceptional circumstances remain unaffected.

If I need to reschedule a session, we agree on a new date at no additional cost. If an already paid service cannot be delivered, the undelivered part is refunded, without prejudice to any further rights provided by law.

5. Recordings and support

For programmes with multiple lessons, recordings and support between sessions are included. Support covers the programme’s topics and activities for its duration; the channel and practical arrangements are agreed at the start. It does not amount to continuous on-call availability or the day-to-day management of the client’s tools.

For single sessions, any recording and subsequent support are included only if agreed. Before recording a session, the arrangements, recipients and handling of personal data are explained; for group lessons, this information is provided to all participants. Recordings are intended for authorised participants and may not be published or shared with people outside the group without the relevant agreement. Delivery arrangements and how long recordings will remain available are communicated in the programme confirmation.

6. The course purchased through Hotmart

The course “Parlare con le macchine” is purchased and accessed through Hotmart. The content, final price, payment methods and requirements are specified on the offer page and in the summary before purchase. The offer on this website provides lifetime access and future updates at no additional cost. This is a one-off purchase, not a recurring subscription.

The product currently includes a 15-day commercial money-back guarantee. To request a refund, you can use the Hotmart refunds portal and email info@federicanardi.it if you have difficulties. Instructions and the deadline are also provided in your purchase details. This guarantee is additional to, and does not replace, the consumer’s mandatory rights.

Access credentials are personal. For technical problems with the platform, Hotmart support and the contact address above are available. Consumer rights concerning the conformity of digital content and services remain applicable where provided by law.

7. The consumer’s right of withdrawal

If you buy at a distance as a consumer, you may generally withdraw within 14 days of the conclusion of the contractwithout giving a reason. To exercise this right, send an explicit statement to info@federicanardi.it before the deadline. You may use the model form at the end of this page, but it is not compulsory.

For consulting and direct training purchased at a distance by a consumer, the appointment can be agreed immediately, but the service is scheduled after the 14-day withdrawal period has expired. The expiry date is stated in the confirmation of the agreement. If your request is urgent, you may expressly ask in writing, for example by email, to begin before the period expires.

Before this early start, your express request, consent to the start of the service and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will be lost are obtained on a durable medium. The right is lost only after the contract has been fully performed. A general statement such as “I do not intend to withdraw” does not replace these steps. If you withdraw after the service has started, only a proportionate amount for what has already been supplied may be due, in the cases and on the conditions provided by law. For programmes with multiple sessions, completing one lesson does not amount to full performance of the programme.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, any loss of the right of withdrawal when supply begins requires the conditions set out in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, including prior express consent, acknowledgement of the loss of the right and contractual confirmation. Simply reading this page or giving a general acceptance does not replace these steps. The commercial guarantee described above also remains valid for the Hotmart course.

Refunds due following withdrawal are made within 14 days of your notification, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed as permitted by law, and without additional refund charges. The appointment scheduling rule does not limit the right of withdrawal where it applies.

8. Materials, data and the use of AI

Original course and training materials are intended for learning and for the client’s personal or internal professional use. Reselling, publishing or distributing materials and recordings requires specific authorisation. The client’s materials remain the client’s; prompts, procedures and other tools developed for their case may be used for the agreed activities, subject to any third-party rights and the terms of the tools involved.

The client must be entitled to use and share the materials they bring to sessions. Entering personal data, confidential information or third-party documents into an AI tool must comply with the applicable permissions and terms. The tools to be used and the data that may be processed are agreed in advance. Using a training service does not authorise the publication of the client’s work, name or results as a promotional case study.

AI tools can produce errors and may change their features and terms over time. Training covers methods of use and verification; it does not guarantee revenue, predetermined savings or commercial results. Liability remains as provided by law: these terms do not exclude liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the consumer’s mandatory rights.

9. Courses run by other organisers

Links to AI Play, the UniCusano BIM master’s programme and events such as UmbrIA Retreat lead to courses and events where Federica Nardi teaches, but which are organised and sold by third parties. Registration, payment, entry requirements, schedules, qualifications awarded and purchase terms are set by the respective organiser and should be checked on its website before enrolling. This page does not replace their contracts.

10. Complaints, applicable law and updates

For information or complaints, email info@federicanardi.it, stating the service and the details needed to understand your request. The relationship is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory rights applicable to the consumer. Disputes with a consumer are subject to the jurisdiction provided by consumer protection law; for other relationships, the jurisdiction rules established by law apply.

New versions of these terms apply to new purchases from the date stated and do not retrospectively alter contracts already concluded. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
